Al-Kamran Public Schooling System (AKPSS) was founded in 1980 by Mrs. Ismat Mehboob who is a RAVIAN (Alumna of the Government College University, Lahore (GCU) and Punjab University.
She joined Army Public School (then COD) in the late ’70s and soon decided to make a bigger impact on society by establishing the first Campus of AKPSS in Kausar Town.
Built on a land reserved for school, Mr. & Mrs. Hussain were able to build a school that was going to lay a foundation for a longstanding relationship with the community. Since 1980, the school has produced thousands of successful individuals who are playing a positive role in society as teachers, doctors, engineers etc.

With a legacy of over 44 years, AKPSS has been a leader in providing quality education in Karachi, Pakistan. We are proud to serve over 3,000 students across our five campuses, supported by a dedicated team of 200+ teachers.
Under the leadership of internationally trained educational consultants, Dr. Noman Hussain, a Member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Canada, and Sadia Rahat, an Early Childhood Educator from Seneca College, Toronto, we bring global best practices to our educational approach.
Our programs, including Starfall, IXL Maths, and BRAINPOP, are a direct result of our international exposure, ensuring that AKPSS maintains the highest standards of education and student development.
At AKPSS, we understand the importance of early childhood education, which is why we have Sadia Rahat, a seasoned curriculum planner for our Pre-School program. Sadia’s expertise as a Montessori Directress and Early Childhood Educator from Seneca College, Toronto, ensures that our Pre-School curriculum, including the innovative Starfall program, is designed to provide the best start for our young learners.
With a focus on play based learning and sensory motor development programs into our curriculum, we are dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to excel in a globalized world.
